Style Coach

Style Coaching by Appointment

I cannot tell you how many times I have been told by clients that they wish they could have me style their hair everyday, or that they could achieve the salon look at home.  This got me thinking... how could that work?  The educator in me knew there was something to the idea that I could help clients professionally style their own hair.
Starting March 18th, I will begin to offer Style Coaching.   The goal is to become familiar with styles of your choosing and develop the skill set and confidence by the end of the session.  The appointment is one-on-one mentoring, utilizing the tools you have at home. You will bring your styling tools and products, and we will determine which are valuable to your selected hairstyle.

All appointments consists of a shampoo, tailored conditioning treatment, and will include a mentored blow-dry at $125 for 90 minutes of coaching.
Each additional 30 minutes is $45 and can be a more in-depth evolution of your style, including alternate looks.

Appointments can be reserved on Saturdays or evenings on weekdays.  Contact me directly for more information

#Trending...The Blunt Bob

The Blunt Bob

The cut of the moment is a far cry from your grandmother's traditional bob.  The Bob has withstood the test of time and will always be a mainstay in the fashion world.  It is the "Little Black Dress" and most anyone at one time or another has been "bobbed."  The best thing about this haircut is that the overall silhouette is so impactful and the lines, when artistically placed, can be magical.  Bobbing your hair has always signified an act of liberation and freedom.  The lines of this cut in particular have moved above shoulder, and all the layering and movement have moved to the interior and in some cases, are an undercut.  It can be just slightly A-line, but too much forward movement can create the Victoria Beckham trend circa 2007.  As always, consult your hairdresser to design this precisely to your facial features, and for tips on how to change up the look from daytime to nighttime.  Rest assured that the selfies you post with this style will still look great in the years to come.

Brunette & Blonde || The best of both worlds

Brunette & Blonde || The Best of Both Worlds

This might be the "Year of the Blonde" but that doesn't mean that brunette a cant get in on the action. Dimensional highlights can give a haircut movement, and attract the eye to whatever area you want to bring focus to. A gloss is key, as well as using the right shampoo and conditioners so that your blonde has the same reflection as your haircolor for the ultimate pop.

Year of the Blonde

Year of the Blonde

Hairdressers have a new tool in our arsenal and it is called Olaplex.  It has helped us go blonder than ever before while minimizing the damage that can happen as a result.  It is a two part process and requires only 5-10 minutes extra time in the salon.  The results yielded have been impressive for me.  My goal is to always create beautiful hair while maintaing the utmost health to the hair fiber.  This will definitely be the Year of the Blonde!
